I have completed commissioned projects for a range of clients, including Blue Pool, Body Rock, The Russell Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, Bournemouth Borough Council and Purbeck District Council. I work for a reasonable hourly or day rate and am happy to quote for any proposals you may have.
Work has included pictures documenting events and workshops (Bournemouth Borough), landscape, completed to a strict brief (Purbeck District), 'lifestyle' shots for websites (Blue Pool & Bodyrock), book jacket commissions, and portraits (Russell Cotes), as well as interiors, museum photography, product shots,
photography of artwork and photographic visualisations.
My biggest commssion to date was to photograph tattoos and the people sporting them for The Russell Cotes Art Gallery & Museum - working within an improvised studio, this became 'Under The Skin' - one of the biggest and most talked about exhibitions at the gallery for years. "This is stunning portraiture. Paul Angel has crafted gorgeous photographs capturing the essence of local individuals who are telling their stories proudly and profoundly through their painted skins." Yvette Staelens, Museum Studies Programme Leader, Bournemouth University.
I am happy to talk to anyone about any suggested projects, though I'm afraid I don't do conventional or venture style 'studio portraits' , or weddings! Anything else, just ask - if I can't do it, I'll be able to recommend someone who can!
